Trout Fishing in America concert comes to The Waldo

Trout Fishing in America will be performing live, Saturday, April 13, at 4 p.m., at The Waldo, for music lovers of all ages.

Known as the “Lennon and McCartney of children’s music,” the musical performing duo Trout Fishing in America has garnered National Indie Awards, Parents Choice Gold Awards, American Library Awards and four Grammy nominations.

Trout Fishing in America is the songwriting collaboration of Keith Grimwood and Ezra Idlet. For almost 50 years, their vibrant, percussive sound and dynamic stage presence have cultivated a multi-generational fan base at performing arts centers, clubs, and music festivals across the country. Trout blends rock-n-roll, blues, funk, folk, and jazz influences with lyrics that are simultaneously witty, whimsical, and poignant, according to the Waldo, in a news release.
