Large numbers of dead fish continue to wash up along the Texas coast. Beachgoers found miles of dead fish along Galveston last weekend. Penny Pereboom posted a video on Facebook on Sunday, September 10, showing "seas of dead fish" that washed up along the coast in Galveston.

Diana Navarro also posted on Facebook in a public Galveston group on Wednesday, September 6, how a bunch of dead fish kept washing ashore. Many of the members of the group are speculating it's the heat that's causing the massive fish kill, which refers to a localized die-off of fish populations, which may also be associated with more generalized mortality of aquatic life.
