Blain Trainor, the Canadian Coast Guard's acting deputy superintendent of hazard response, said crews successfully got the boat back to Fortune Harbour on Thursday morning. "The biggest challenge for us out here was the weather," Trainor told CBC News. "For six of the seven days it was just really windy. Fairly big waves crashing in on the shore."
