A cold clear mountain lake in the B.C. interior teeming with bait fish and monster Lake Trout. Structure and cover, a given by “simple” schematics.
Being such that I am a former Sonar man in the Royal Canadian Navy, I’m having a bit of a flash back where these trout mini-subs are concerned. Without giving too much away, visually speaking, Garmin’s fish finding academics somewhat parallel the naval pros, minus the sound aspect of course.
Locating devices in both these professions are an invaluable asset. As was stated above, “Although we did also do a bit of trolling, we mostly sat on top of the fish and picked off giant after giant.” |
