Twenty-three of the fish were alive and released, and the other 110 were given to two needy families, enforcement spokesman Adam Einck said in an email. Agents also confiscated the three nets being used on Oct. 22, the news release said. If convicted, each man could be fined $400 to $950 fine and spend up to 120 days in jail. They could also be ordered to pay restitution totaling $581.24 — the value of the fish.
