Тепло нагрянуло неожиданно. В тот день на мели около зарослей прошлогоднего тростника я случайно увидел крупного серебряного карася и твердо решил попытаться поймать его. Серебряные караси переносят зимовку гораздо труднее, чем золотые, но первыми начинают активно питаться и клевать.

Весенняя удочка для ловли на пруду длиной около 5 м, с легкой оснасткой: основная леска зеленого цвета, диаметром 0,12 мм, без поводка, чувствительный поплавок с высокой антенной, крючок № 3 по отечественной нумерации.
