106-pound catfish highlights Alton Catfish Classic

The Alton Catfish Classic gets bigger and bigger every year.

So do the fish.

A year after the Catfish Classic’s biggest catfish was 65.02 pounds, a 106.23-pound catfish emerged from the boat of anglers Richard McAdams, Dave Shipman and Chris Baker.

The prize for the top big fish was $1,500.

The trio also took first place overall with three catfish combining for 151.27 pounds for a grand prize of $20,000.
