России грозит дефицит сайры

В этом году Россия, судя по всему, останется без собственной сайры. Будущий деликатес не пожелал почтить своим присутствием воды, которые относятся к российской юрисдикции. «К промыслу сайры российские суда не приступали, и в этом году вряд ли стоит ожидать захода сайры в российскую экономзону», — сообщили в Росрыболовстве.

Сайра обитает в Тихом океане. В открытых водах ее промысел ведут флоты Китая, Тайваня, Южной Кореи и Японии. На середину августа они уже наловили 13 661 тонн, уточнили в российском ведомстве. Это означает, что большая часть сырья для популярных у россиян консервов будет импортироваться, что неминуемо отразится на ценах.
