Начало календарной зимы прошло в Беларуси под знаком перволедья! Несколько недель с умеренными морозами сделали свое дело: почти по всей территории страны встал более-менее безопасный для передвижения человека лед. И истосковавшиеся по ощущениям рыболовы массово ринулись на озера и речные старицы удовлетворять свой рыбацкий голод.

Не обошлось и без жертв. Буквально на третий морозный день в прессе появились сообщения о смертельных случаях, произошедших в разных концах страны. Люди тонули из-за своей беспечности.
