About this time 96 years ago a great man-hunt took place in the West Country along the McLeod and Embarras rivers.

One which Wop May – Edmonton’s legendary air industry pioneer and First World War fighter ace – described as the “most hazardous and dangerous” he had ever been on.
 

This coming from the guy who once had the Red Baron on his tail of his Sopwith Camel during a First World War dogfight.
