While bunnies and Easter eggs were the prime focus on Easter weekend, millions of a different kind of egg – suitable for tanks, not baskets – are the focus in Linesville at the Linesville State Fish Hatchery during spawning season. |

The Pennsylvania Fish Commission’s hatchery, at 13300 Hartstown Road, opened its doors to the public Saturday.
Visitors saw walleye-spawning demonstrations on how the hatchery propagates millions of fish each year for Pennsylvania’s waterways.
There were fly-tying demonstrations. and what’s fishing without cooking tips? So waterways conservation officers demonstrated techniques to fillet various fish and cooked samples of fish common to Pymatuning Reservoir. |
