Ученые заинтересовались феноменом глубинной подледной рыбалки на Байкале

Места зимнего скопления омуля, где популярна глубинная подледная рыбалка, планируется обследовать на озере Байкал в ходе научной экспедиции в мае. Об этом сообщил руководитель Байкальского филиала Всероссийского научно-исследовательского института рыбного хозяйства и океанографии (ВНИРО) Владимир Петерфельд.

"Необходимо обследовать участки, где фактически на склонах всю зиму стоял омуль на 150-170 м. Он всю зиму там простоял", - заявил Петерфельд на пресс-конференции в иркутском пресс-центре "Интерфакса" в пятницу.

"Мне бы раньше сказали, что там есть серьезные скопления, я бы сказал: да нет, что он там будет делать, это не характерное для омуля распределение зимнее", - отметил ученый.
