Recalling the moment she found Binx, the resident, who asked not to be named, said: "The fish was just lying on the floor near my house gate on the pavement. "I’d returned from work, around 11.10pm, and my boyfriend noticed it, took a closer look and its tail flicked. "So he ran inside to get some water as I poured my bottle of water over it to keep it alive. "And then we put it in a pan of water as we had nothing else. "I named the fish Binx as (he) went through a tough time like Binx in Hocus Pocus and was able to move on, plus I adore that film."
