Кроме всех прелестей, которые несет с собой весна, у нее есть еще одно свойство - ее ждут не только рыболовы, но и рыба. Весна – это время встречи. Снег сошел, лед растаял, природа просыпается и просыпается щука. Иногда щука просыпается не в настроении, а иногда голодная, как дворовая собака. Обычно от щуки ждут активности, но в этом году ее поведение заставило нас в задумчивости чесать затылки.

Известно, что после распаления льда вода прогревается быстрее на открытых мелких озерах, ериках и затонах. Мы начали искать щуку, когда пойменные водоемы еще только начали вскрываться и на крупную рыбу особо не надеялись. По нашим наблюдениям, крупная щука стоит на ямах и никак себя не проявляет вплоть до начала нереста мелкой щуки.
