Along time ago, about three years, (that’s a long time when you get as old as I am) a friend of mine got rid of some fishing rods. He gave them to me to fix. It was time to give them back unfixed.
Putz was greeted by the carved ‘Swahilis’ at the gate as he drove into his friend’s place. (Putzer had no reason to fear attack from them because they had their feet firmly planted in the ground.)
No one was home, which is what Putz had hoped for. |

He walked around a bit, just to make sure no one was there. Then Putz got the key from its hiding place and went inside the workshop. Putzer didn’t need a light. It was bright enough. He put the rods in a corner where they would be partway hidden. Then he left. But he did not go directly home. |
