'Quite significant' amount of fish die in Sydney creek after nearby fire

A "quite significant" amount of fish have been killed after foam appeared in the water at a creek in Sydney, days after a fire nearby.
The Environmental Protection Authority (EPA) is investigating the suspected pollution incident at Flat Rock Creek in Northbridge after they were alerted by the public yesterday.
 

"We have sent our specialist sampling crew out to take water samples and we are starting to work to addressing the clean-up of the creek," the EPA's executive director of regulatory operations Steve Beaman said.
