Nobody knows the origins of Pig Nose or his distinctive 'snout,' but the gargantuan beast is believed to be around 80 years old, based on its size. 'His name is Pig Nose and you can see why - he damaged his nose 40 years ago,' explained Jeff Grimolfson, who works with McCabe at fishing tour company River Monster Adventures. The beast 'has been the talk of fishing and sporting goods shops for years,' he added. 'As the legend lives on, you'd be in a sporting goods shop and you'd hear, "My buddy was sure he had Pig Nose on the line."'
