A Baton Rouge man was cited for not following guidelines while fishing.
Gui Chen, 56, was cited for fishing without a saltwater fishing license, catching undersized spotted sea trout and having 50 or more spotted sea trout on Aug. 4. |

According to the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, agents were patrolling in Grand Isle when they spotted Chen fishing on a nearby pier. When agents were performing a compliance check, Chen had 401 white sea trout and 65 spotted sea trout. The spotted sea trout were under the minimum size requirement of 13 inches. |
