На календаре еще зима, а южная часть Беларуси переживает мощный зимний паводок. На главной водной артерии Полесья – Припяти в эти дни 457 см. до критического уровня осталось менее 50 см. А вода прибывает по 2-3 см. каждый день. Большинство пойменных лугов, где весной нерестится рыба, уже превратились в моря. Вот только рано это все.

Как бы к началу массового нереста паводок не пошел бы на убыль. Тогда - беда. И без того сильно прореженное за годы засухи рыбье племя не сможет нормально отметать икру.

Да и вылупившаяся молодь будет массово гибнуть от обсыхания. Но это пока прогнозы. Дай Бог, чтобы они не сбылись.
