В детстве любимой нашей с другом рыбалкой была ловля ротана. В то время водилось его в пойменных озерах видимо-невидимо. Озера, или скорее болотца, которые наполняются весной и к концу лета практически пересыхают, были разбросаны по всему нашему заливному лугу. Чтобы добраться до ближайших требовалось всего минут пять-семь, но были и такие, до которых топать надо было целый час.

В один и тот же день ротан мог отлично ловиться в одном озере и абсолютно не клевать в соседнем, а на другой день ситуация могла перемениться на противоположную.

Такой клев рыбы располагал к активному поиску «ловчего» водоема.
