Have you ever wondered how exactly environmentalists and aquatic experts know how many fish are in different parts of rivers?

Yesterday a crowd gathered by the South West Victorian Lower Curdies River to find out.

The Corangamite Catchment Authority (CMA) and Austral Research and Consulting's aquatic experts held a public electrofishing expedition where they demonstrated to a crowd how they count the fish.
