Байкал пополнится рекордным количеством молоди омуля весной следующего года

На Большереченском рыбоводном заводе ФГБУ "Главрыбвод" (подведомственного учреждения Росрыболовства) заложили на инкубацию рекордный объем икры байкальского омуля — более 1 млрд штук.
Благодаря усилиям Росрыболовства по сохранению и восстановлению запаса байкальского эндемика, нерестовая кампания по сбору оплодотворенной икры омуля пошла очень успешно, сообщает Федеральное агенство по рыболовству.

Нерест проходил в садковой базе завода, в условиях приближенных к естественным, сбор икры осуществляется экологическим методом. Уникальная технология разработана байкальским рыбоводом Николаем Дзюменко, чье имя носит завод. Она используется с 1985 года и отличается рядом усовершенствований биотехники разведения.
