Разработан проект комплексной программы по сохранению и восстановлению запасов воблы в Волге

Современное состояние запасов воблы чрезвычайно напряженное. Только за последние 20 лет запасы воблы уменьшились более чем в 2 раза, уловы ее упали в 6 раз, а за весь период наблюдений более чем в 130 раз. На состояние запасов воблы влияют много факторов. Для каждой популяции существует определенный критический уровень ее численности, при падении ниже которого начинаются серьезные проблемы с самовоспроизводством вида. Критический уровень промыслового запаса для воблы определен в 20 тыс. тонн. Общая биомасса взрослой воблы в 2021 году составила всего 22 тыс. тонн, - сообщает Федеральное агенство по рыболовству.
 

Ученые Росрыболовства занимаются подготовкой комплексной программы по сохранению и восстановлению запасов воблы. Ее цель — рост численности популяции воблы, увеличение промысловых и любительских уловов на перспективу. В адрес КаспНИРХ поступили предложения от трех субъектов Российской Федерации (Астраханская область, Республика Калмыкия и Республика Дагестан):
