Жарким сияющим июльским днем я достиг устья Курейки – правобережного притока Енисея, на высоком берегу которого установлен символический знак с надписью «Полярный круг». Тут и завершился мой сплав по великой сибирской реке. Окончание путешествия я решил отметить праздничным ужином. С помощью моего неразлучного и верного спутника спиннинга я добыл килограммовую щучку. Здесь, особенно в низовьях реки, это не проблема.

Тут же порезал ее на куски и уже приготовился их заливать водой, когда вспомнил, что у меня осталось сало. Мой стратегический продуктовый запас, который хранился больше месяца. Так как срок годности его, пожалуй, уже вышел, мне ничего не оставалось, как покромсать остатки сала на мелкие лепестки и пережарить их.
