Учёные из Сычуаньского университета (Китай) создали робота в форме рыбы, который быстро плавает и собирает мусор. Крошечная машина передвигается при помощи хвостовых плавников и потенциально будет использоваться для очистки океанов от пластикового загрязнения.

Длина робота составляет всего полдюйма, благодаря чему он может проникать в маленькие трещины и щели, чтобы собирать кусочки мусора. Движение в роботе производится за счет вспышек инфракрасного света, поэтому механизму не нужен дополнительный источник питания.
