Одной из уникальных черт планеты Земля является наличие разнообразных биомов, от пустынь и степей до тропических лесов и тайги. Каждый из этих регионов является родной средой обитания для множества видов флоры и фауны, которые прошли долгий процесс эволюции, чтобы выжить в тех или иных условиях.
 

Эволюцию человека стоит рассматривать в сопряжении с технологическим прогрессом, который прошел наш вид. Благодаря развитию технологий мы научились создавать инструменты, позволяющие нам не только исследовать ранее неизведанные уголки родной планеты, но и обосноваться там, не боясь суровых погодных условий, труднопроходимого ландшафта или голодных хищников.
