UK secures £970million fishing stock with EU in deal

Defra says that British fishermen now have access to more stock than it would have done were the UK still part of the bloc.

A new set of agreements between Norway and the UK opens up an estimated €1billion in fishing opportunities for the country, the European Commission has said.
