This week biologists from the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources and the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service stocked 375, 6-inch sturgeon fry into the estuary at Duluth’s Chamber’s Grove Park — the river’s first sturgeon stocking since 2000 — in hopes they will grow big and help boost the population.
