Ranchi woman suffers kidney failure after eating raw fish gallbladder to cure diabetes

A 48-year-old woman consumed raw fish's gallbladder to treat diabetes, leading to the development of severe kidney inflammation. After treatment, her doctors advised strictly against the rather popular but unhealthy consumption practice.

48-year-old resident of Ranchi, Seta Devi, suffered from acute kidney failure after consuming raw fish gallbladder.
She said she was advised to do so by a local quack to treat her diabetes.
Doctors at the Sir Ganga Ram Hospital flagged the practice, though the woman recovered after treatment
