Joseph said within the past few weeks, 10 of his 11 fish pots, which were placed in the sea not too far from the Marine Unit in Vieux-Fort, were stolen. He said he believes they were stolen from fishers in nearby communities.

Joseph said the thieves began stealing his fish pots just before his boat went missing and continued after.
