Хочу рассказать о технике и тактике ловли на одну очень интересную, народную снасть – на макалу, как говорят у нас во Владимирской области. Снастью этой очень успешно ловлю на реке Клязьма, в основном щуку.

Устройство снасти, как и любого народного изобретения, чрезвычайно просто.

Она состоит из жесткого, прочного удилища длиной 4–5 м, безынерционной катушки с небольшим запасом прочной лески, на конце которой привязан поводок с тройником, выше поводка находится груз, на крючок насаживают мертвую рыбку.
