С приближением осени нередко случаются смены погодной обстановки с жары на похолодание или наоборот, что непременно отражается на состоянии водоемов и на поведении разной рыбы. Понижение температуры воздуха, дожди, сильные ветры могут за короткое время вызвать подъем уровня, остывание воды и даже ее помутнение.

Когда процессы изменения состояния воды происходят не резко, а достаточно долго по времени, то до определенного момента охлаждение водоемов, особенно после их перегрева в жару, действует благоприятно на всю рыбу, поскольку улучшается качество среды ее обитания.
