Mr Winsor told PerthNow he ventured to a new fishing spot with some mates by chance and happened to get lucky. He said he believed he had his fishing line stuck for 15 minutes before realising there was a whopper hooked on the other end. “It took about 40 minutes to reel in,” Mr Winsor said as he revealed how his electric reel became jammed in the hustle. He said he had to do some manual work to get the fish in — and pulled up sore the next day.
