Эта рыба для меня загадка. Никогда нельзя сказать, где она появится, где будет кормиться и насколько реально поймать ее в то или иное время в том или ином месте. Все непредсказуемо, или почти все.

Я проводил дни напролет на гольцовых озерах, пытаясь подобрать ключик к этому краснопузому непредсказуемому любителю озерных глубин. Именно в них он прячется от назойливых приманок рыбаков, и выманить его невозможно ни за какие коврижки. Так и хочется придумать какую-нибудь хитрую прикормку, чтобы заставить его выйти на доступные для нахлыстовых забросов места.
