A new chapter for Scotlands oldest independent fish farm

Following successful negotiations, Amar Seafood and Otter Ferry Seafish have reached an agreement whereby Amar Seafood has acquired 100 percent shareholding in the Scottish aquaculture company.
 

Otter Ferry has been at the heart of innovation in the Scottish industry since 1968, contributing to the development of trout farming, land-based salmon farming, and salmonid broodstock and smolt production. As the only commercial marine hatchery in Scotland, it has also played a leading role in establishing production of halibut, wrasse and lumpfish.
