Yesterday, January 13th, 2022, New Hampshire angler, Ryan Scott Ashely landed a massive Burbot through the ice that now holds the state record.
According to New Hampshire Fish and Game (via Facebook), the fish weighed in at a whopping 12lbs 8.48 ounces and measured 35 inches long. |

Well, in Ontario, 2017 saw a 39 inch long, 19-inch girth, 18.3-pound monster pulled in by Lake Simcoe angler Sebastian Roy.
