Thousands of dead fish wash up on Texas beach in latest sign

As the summer approaches, the season seems to be marred with signs of our impending doom - but don't panic too much: some of these "plagues" are completely natural, although they are likely exacerbated by climate change.
 

While wildfires rage across Canada, causing cities like New York to be bathed in a post-apocalyptic orange glow, officials are warning of flesh-eating bacteria in the rotting piles of sargassum on Florida's beaches.
