Речка наша на окраине Йошкар-Олы, за плотиной, не замерзает всю зиму, чем пользуются утки всех видов и расцветок, живущие здесь постоянно и не улетающие на юг. Пользуются этим и городские рыболовы. Одни – настоящие фанаты и любители фидерной ловли, другие – отчаянные поплавочники, для которых ловля болонской удочкой в мороз за двадцать – обычное дело…

Я же приноровился ловить здесь уклейку и плотву легкой поплавочной удочкой на крашеного красного опарыша. Эти уклейки и сорожки идут потом на живца. Главное сохранить рыбок живыми.
