For the second year in a row. firefighters and EMS squads rescued anglers from ice sheets that broke apart on Red Lake in northern Minnesota.

No one was injured, but 35 people stood on the break-away ice on Red Lake Sunday afternoon, Dec. 17, until volunteer rescuers could use Minnesota Department of Natural Resources airboats to get to them.
