A three-metre tuna fish that has been described as "quite a rarity" has recently washed up on a Lincolnshire beach. The large fish, which may be a species of bluefin tuna, was found by a local dog walker, Tom Savage, 76, on Seacroft Beach in Skegness.

Mr Savage, who has lived in Seacroft with his wife for 27 years, said he saw the fish whilst walking his Jack Russell at around 7.30am on Sunday, October 23. He discovered the fish after his friend had told him he had seen it the previous day and described it as "amazing" and "impressive", and said that it was in good condition apart from its pectoral fin.
