Lake Erie is also ice free right now, and the walleye are biting from Cleveland to Huron, where some of the largest walleye of the season are being caught this week. Northeast Ohio’s tributaries are free flowing, giving steelhead trout fishermen plenty of opportunities. The large lakes and reservoirs, especially Mosquito and Pymatuning, are providing some walleye and crappie fishing.
