Meet Aquanaut: A new deep sea diving robot from NASA

NASA's Johnson Space Center decided to design a shape-changing submersible robot.
NASA has worked with Houston-based Nauticus Robotics Inc.
This new robot will provide a lot of convenience to the maritime industry.
 

NASA, which designed Robonaut with General Mobile in 2011, this time rolled up its sleeves for the sea, not space. Experts from Johnson Space Center located in Houston decided to design a robotic diver to reduce shipping costs.
