Wexford man goes fishing for a cause close to his heart

When Oylegate native Michael Fogarty was first diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis (MS), it naturally took a heavy toll. The diagnosis brought with it lots of questions and concerns for the future.

That was 22 years ago now and Michael, now living in Boolavogue, is doing well. In fact, he’s keen to help others who may not have been as fortunate in their battle with this debilitating illness.
 

"I was part of the clinical trial for a drug called Tecfidera,” he explains. “It was released to the public a number of years ago and was still in its research phase.
