Fishing on Atleo River

Canada, BC, Clayoquot Land

Link |   |  JARKS
The Atleo River has been an integral component of the way of life for the Ahousaht people since time immemorial. Once home to all 5 pacific salmon species, including one of the most prolific runs of Chum salmon in Clayoquot Sound, in recent times these populations have been reduced to a fraction of their former size.
