Invasive snakehead fish reported in Lower Susquehanna River

The Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission (PBC) issued a strong advisory to encourage anglers who catch an invasive species to report and dispose of it.

An invasive Northern Snakehead in the lower Susquehanna River has been spotted in Conowingo Reservoir by anglers and natural resource agency biologists this summer, including the first evidence of Northern Snakehead reproduction in the reservoir.
