Reeling them in at Kids and Cops Fishing day in Cornwall

There were almost as many kids as fish along the east bank of Cornwall Marina 200 on Saturday morning.

Even though Karson Longchamps had already caught a nice variety of two yellow perch and a round goby (an invasive species), his smile got even wider when pulled up a baby largemouth bass dangling from the tip of his new rod.
 

He swung his bass over to the shore where his grampa Michel Bissonnette unhooked it, handed it back to Karson who gently released it into clear water of the marina, which was illuminated by the cloudless sky.
