If extreme angling has a face, it would definitely be that of Jeremy Wade. Long story short, he is destined to host a show built to uncover secrets lying deep within the world's famous, as well as the remotest, rivers.

Our hero started his angling badassery long before hosting River Monsters, says IMDB, an equally badass, nine-season reality TV show that made waves on both Animal Planet and Discovery Channel.
 

The show is famous for its leave-no-stone-unturned approach in solving every mystery, mystery that struck fear among the locals where it happened. To do this, Jeremy Wade and his crew had to let the camera roll for as long as they could.

Despite the crew's effort, however, there were times that the best moments on River Monsters just happened behind the scenes.
