Fish flying into your boat isn't your typical type of fishing. But at the Redneck Fishing Tournament, it's more than common.

Fishing is often looked at as a peaceful activity, but here on the Illinois River, it’s anything but calm.

When someone says jump, the answer is often how high. But for Asian Carp or Copi fish, it really is how high.

"The fish were huge this year. We dodged more than we probably caught, but it was a lot of fun," John Patterson, a participant, said.

Boats set out onto the Illinois River on Friday with one mission, to catch as many Asian Carp as possible.
