Ученые проанализировали уровни концентрации плутония в Енисее

Коллектив сибирских ученых впервые провел анализ долговременных изменений содержания плутония в растительном и животном мире реки Енисей, а также в его донных отложениях.
Кроме того, специалисты измерили фоновый уровень плутония в водной биоте (растениях и животных) реки на участке, который находится выше радиоактивных сбросов.

Ведущую роль в исследовании взяли на себя сотрудники Красноярского научного центра Сибирского отделения Российской академии наук.
Как выяснилось, содержание плутония после повышения сбросов в Енисей особенно заметно увеличилось в водных растениях. Согласно выводам ученых, водный мох - лучший индикатор загрязнения. Повышение концентрации плутония заметно также в рачках, некоторых видах личинок и в донных отложениях
