Amazing video shows captain landing 7ft fish while on tiny paddle board

If going out on a high is a big thing in fishing, then this captain should retire after making this huge catch.

It won’t get any better for Ben Chancey, who managed to snare a 7ft Goliath Grouper – and had it caught on camera.

If that wasn’t impressive enough, in a world first, he reeled the thing in while on a paddle board.

You know, that narrow board that barely fits a human on it. That.
 

It wasn’t easy for him by any means.

He was pulled off his board while he battled the monster catch near Florida’s East Coast.

But after a lot of struggling (and shouting from people on boats) he came out on top.

It’s not clear whether he freed the grouper after the photos were taken – or fed the whole of Florida with it for a month.
